Ægir beer and food
The concept of Ægir beer in and with the food has proved a success.
Ægir BrewPub is steeped in Viking history, as are the menus on offer. We use local ingredients that would have been familiar in Viking times, but with flavours to suit the modern palate. Embark on a voyage of culinary discovery from 1017 to 2017!
Ægir beer is used in marinades and sauces, with hops, malt and herbs bringing a distinctive extra dimension to the food. Ægir brews flavoursome beers, both light and dark, that compliment everything from fish and game to chocolate.
Food is served in Ægir BrewPub’s first-floor dining area.

We have a large selection of beers – different types and different proofs, and a great variety according to seasons. View our beers.
Food is served in Ægir BrewPub’s first-floor dining area. There are small tables for one, two and more, and long tables seating up to 12.
Lunch and dinner reservations can be made at Ægir BrewPub for groups of minimum 7 persons.
Our popular Ægir Viking plank and other selected dishes from the Ægir Viking menu are also available in Ægir Tasting Room Peisestova, our tasting room with its cosy fireplace, and in Flåmstova Restaurant. Tables here can be reserved for 1-2 persons and for small or large groups.
